This series was amazing so enjoyable and fun. I finished the last book in January and wow.

This is the first book in the trilogy. This was the book is the building book, it was when Hetty was a child and she was struggling with who she was and who her mother is. Till she meets the foster family she finally feels accepted and she meets Jem. Jem is her childhood sweet heart or that's what they think then. One day the circus comes to Hetty's village. She meets a women at the circus and keeps on begging Jem to let her see the show and that is what happens. Later in the book Hetty knows that she has to go back to the founding hospital to train to become a maid. She is struggling with fear, confusion and anger. It is all about her life from when she was a baby till when she is a maid.
